2007

2007 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. Radcom, in collaboration with rkstudio6, won an APEX Award of Excellence in the Most Improved Web & Intranet Sites category for the 10th Anniversary Redesign. The Radcom Sales Team won the second APEX Award of Excellence in the Corporate Capability & Identity Materials category for the Radcom Sales Packet.

Jennifer Beaujon and Neil McCormick of Cinecraft Productions received the Award of Distinguished Technical Communication for their work on the Brizo® Pascal™ Culinary Faucet with Smart Technology. The award is from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) and qualifies them for the International Competition.


2005

Award of Merit in the Technical Publications Completion 2004-2005 for ProgressBook Quick Start Guide from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC).


2004

Jill McCauslin and Angela Dianetti received the Continued Service Award for their organization of network lunches for the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC).

Radcom received a Weatherhead 100 Upstart Award, praising Radcom Inc. as one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio.


2003

Jill McCauslin received the Distinguished Chapter Service Award for her hard work and commitment to the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC).


2002

2002 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. These awards recognize excellence in publications work by professional communicators in over 100 sub-categories. Out of 5,900 entries, judged by a panel from Communication Concepts, 1,527 entries received Awards of Excellence.


Several employees received awards for entries submitted to the Northeast Ohio Chapter of STC 2001-2002 online communications and technical publications competition. These awards recognized the developers’ excellent writing, design, and organization skills. The entries were judged by peers in the technical communication field and included three award categories: Distinguished Technical Communication, Excellence, and Merit.

Award of Excellence for the PPG Accu-Systems Interface Installation and Troubleshooting Manual. Judges pointed to the well-written overview sections, good use of graphic illustrations, and troubleshooting charts for choosing this manual for an award.

Award of Excellence for the PPG Accu-Systems System Administrator’s Guide. Consistently clear and concise writing on extremely technical material, excellent visual design, and easy-to-follow organization were noted as reasons for the guide’s high marks.

Award of Merit for the GED Application Table for 3M Accentrim Products Manual. Judges noted the strength of the graphic elements, pleasing visual organization, and simple step-by-step instructions.

Award of Excellence for the Marconi Medical Systems IntelliView Web Help. The Web-based Help system was recognized for being well organized and easy to navigate, containing an excellent table of contents and index, and having a friendly, attractive appearance.


 

Bob Dianetti received the Distinguished Chapter Service Award for his continued commitment to leadership and education within the Northeast Ohio Chapter of STC.


2001

Award of Merit for the Radcom Marketing Brochure submitted to the Southwest Ohio Chapter of STC 2000-2001 technical publications competition.


 

Kristen Jackson received the Volunteer of the Year Award for helping to redesign and reorganize the Northeast Ohio Chapter of STC Web site.


 

Bob Dianetti received recognition in appreciation for his guidance and assistance to Cuyahoga Community College through his service as the Chairman of the Technical Communication Advisory Board.


2000

Award of Excellence for the Log Assist for Windows Help submitted to the Northeast Ohio Chapter of STC 1999-2000 technical publications competition in the online Help category.

Award of Merit for the Web Intelligence Quick Reference Guides in the quick reference guide category.


 

Bob Dianetti received the Volunteer of the Year award for extraordinary effort in volunteering his time and talent to the Cuyahoga Community Technical Communication Program Series and for helping to raise the level of awareness and the caliber of the technical communication profession in Northeast Ohio from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of STC.


1999

Award of Merit for the Penske Logistics Project Status Report Maintenance Module Help submitted to the Southwest Ohio Chapter of STC 1998-1999 technical publications competition.
